1x-1000X Magnification 8 LED USB Digital Microscope Endoscope Zoom Video Camera Magnifier + Stand
This device is impressive; however, as other reviewers it does take some tinkering to get it to work. I first tried it with Windows Vista and it would not work. Then I tried it with Windows 10 laptop--at first it too didn't work but then I went to the camera and flipped between the front and selfie cameras and the microscope was added as a third. The auto zoom doesn't work and I have to use the app on the laptop to photograph things (the button on the device won't execute this operation); however, the quality of the images is incredible. I write with fountain pens and this provides me with an exceptional view of the nib and any issues it might have. It is also great to examine ingrown nails or hairs. Highly recommend but note that compatibility with Operating systems other than Windows 10 may not be possible.
works well with all my windows 10 computers, didn't try others. kids are having fun with it
fun toy, software is a bit finicky
I used it for inspecting phono needles for cleaning and ware.
beneficial for kid's imagination and knowledge
The stand that comes with it is flimsy and does not allow fine tuning when you need to focus at high resolution. Also, the lowest magnification is 50, which is probably great for people collecting amoebas, but it's overkill for philatelic or numismatic enlargement.
