Excellent way to turn on lights or appliances from anywhere using your smart phone and your wireless modem. Just set up livingwise account plug in to wall socket push button (turning on appliance), hold the button 6 seconds (flashing red), pair your wifi on smartphone with likewise When paired return to app handset up device, name ,timers etc. .. save...access on / off or edit by opening app and selecting which device , then touch an action. When you pair it with your wireless modem it allows the plug to take commands from the app. When you program a timer or just push turn on/off it is programed or relayed over the internet (just like emails to your computer)to your modem then device . I recommend it.

Ordered 2 of these and they work great. I would however NOT recommend using the Livingwise app to integrate with Alexa or Google home. I tried the living wise app first and it works for basic set up but couldn't get Alexa to work with it. Therefore download the Homemate app, select US S25 plugs, and link that way. Then in Alexa app click 'Your Smart Home Skills' and select 'New Homemate' (Should be a brown logo vs a green logo I believe). Will be buying more of these even though they are bit bulky compared to others I have purchased.
