The black cartridge was missing the small felt pad on the ink hole. I managed to rescue the pad from my old cartridge and transfer it to the new one. It works, but the quality isn't great. Grrrrrrr. Doug

Cartridges did not work, printer would not recognize, even when set to factory default settings. waste of money.
