The rope is long, and the plates are alright, but man the screws are awful... ended up trusting the included set too much, stripping too many before I smartened up. To pull up bikes, works well. Also used to hoist other stuff

Perfect. Needed some extra boards to attach to the garage ceiling, and the rope could have been a bit longer due to the extended height of ceiling, but workable. Definitely gets things off the floor!
