It shreds at both sides of the paper that is inserted but not in the middle of the paper. It catches on the grates there, so it is not a smooth shredder.

Very narrow slot, difficult to feed paper for shredding, does not grab paper have to push hard to get the shredding to start. Very disappointed. Would like to return and get money back

Unfortunately this item arrived damaged, probably because of poor packaging. I have returned it and am waiting for a replacement which hopefully will be in better condition.

Oil from Motor had leaked across half the motor unit. It smells like automotive oil and causing paper shreds to stick to the shredder motor. Not sure if this is due to defect or what but Papers bunch up towards left during shredding leading to slow shredding and paper getting stuck.

Stopped working the first day I used it. Did not even attempt 8 sheets, 6 was too much. Paper pieces got stuck in the top and there is no way to remove it. I fed paper in neatly so no idea how the paper got stuck there. 123 quickly and efficiently handled the return and refund.
