It's not bad, had a bit of a scare when first using it. I plugged in the power cord and then went to plug in the adapter part into the amplifier, and a huge spark blew up. I was worried the amplifier blew, but it still worked. I believe the spark was caused because of the metal body of the amplifier. The instructions do say plug in the adapter to the amplifier first but this is a pretty dangerous design flaw. I am not sure if the quality of the sound has been affected because of this. The bluetooth function isn't the best. After a certain volume level, the sound becomes fuzzy and grainy.

Dear Customer This kind of the spark is caused by the capacitor is drawing a large current of power in a fraction of seconds, this is considered normal and the spark will be only at the very moment that you plug-in the power adapter, but we still recommend you to avoid doing that next time since it will generate a huge amount of heat at that short instant and might going to have a slight chance to burn and carbonize the housing on the connector where the spark had been generated. it will not affect the use of the amplifier but will make the connector part looks and smells burned. My first purchase’s left channel quit after 4 days. Replacement turnaround time was 1 week, also website not clear on how to order replacement (rather than refund) - would rate 5 stars if not for that. Ended up phoning customer service who were VERY helpful and did it for me. Have used replacement 2-4 hrs daily for week+ (AR215Psx2/ARS108PSBSubUnit) Blutooth easy, reliable set-up with iMac/iPad/iPhone. Sound is clean, power as advertised, runs somewhat hot even at idle. Very good value.

overall great amp the powersupply is 160w only problem is that google home keep losing bluetooth connection every time I turn it off so I'l need to buy a chrome cast audio to fit my need
