200W Class D Bluetooth aptX Speaker Amplifier - PrimeCables®
Great little amp. Using it in my kitchen with Polk RTi A3 speakers. I'm using a chromecast with it to sync to the rest of my house, but the bluetooth function does work well and paired very quick with my Samsung S7 phone for testing. Nice build quality, no complaints about sound quality either. I'm not using this is a "critical listening" environment, but I do usually notice when things sound good, and this does. I could have honestly used it's "little bother" the Cab-AMP30, which also sounds pretty good. (I got both, using the smaller amp at my computer) but I wanted a little more headroom for days when I have the music up louder or if I decide to power a slightly larger speaker in the future. Keep in mind that all of the class "D" amps like this are rated by the capacity of the chip, not the output. This can't put out more than 36 Volt x 4.5 amps = 162 watts. There is great video on this here explain house the class D amps work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iO-MVAnA9f4 I'm happy with it "even at" 162 watts, I knew it before buying. Thought I'd share with others looking at the class D amps. I wouldn't try using this speakers that are large and inefficient, but if you have some nice bookshelf speakers or even efficient towers this will be more than enough unless your looking to shake the house. Pros: small, clean looking, well made (looks nice), bluetooth if you want it, easy input switching on front, plenty of power. Cons: Not truly able to output 200w of power, but that is a not unique to this class D, it's common to all of them, and this unit is better priced than many of its competitors that have the same restraints.
Fonctionne a tres bien
I hooked this up to a pair of the prime cables bookshelf speakers and it sounds amazing ! Love the Bluetooth ! Only dislikes: the Bluetooth is low range very similar to standard Bluetooth range and there’s no way to disconnect a phone from the amp. You have to disconnect from settings
I bought a couple of these Amps. They have plenty of power to feed 8 ohm 100W RMS Speakers. I really love the options it provides for audio input. The build quality is pretty good for the price.
Works well, easy to install
