4-Port USB 3.0 Ultra Slim Data Hub Splitter with Micro USB Power Port, Black - PrimeCables®
doesn't recognize the device after coming back from sleep
I plugged it in my laptop's USB3 outlet and connected my cell phone and a portable hard drive to this hub. It slowed down Windows Explorer almost to a standstill. It also caused a lot of flickering in Windows. My laptop only worked after it was unplugged. V frustrating. Maybe because this one is not powered. Thinking of returning it. In the meantime, it may only be good to use as a 4-way "charger" for cell phones.
Pros: Devices will work when connected to it. Cons: It identifies itself to my computer as my mouse dock (icon, name ect. The program for my dock thinks its the dock) This issue persists when its the only thing plugged into the computer and connected to another computer thats never had the dock plugged in. Because of this i get the odd issues with my dock, even when its not running through the dock. I have contacted support about this and their response was "its passive so it cant do that". Well windows and a 3rd party program all tell me i have 2 mouse docks now. In short: Even if this one does work, their support isn't gonna care about helping you fix the problem so hope you get one without problems cause then you will get exactly what you want. If it doesn't work i hope you bought one from another place.
Only 2 ports are USB 3 capable, and 2 ports don't see USB 3 devices. I tried multiple USB 3 devices. All devices worked in the host USB 3 port..All 4 ports see USB 2. SAD! I already have USB 2 hubs..So I used 1 USB 3 port to get 1 Additional USB 3 port, very poor investment
Does not work with my computer and printers and everything... Should have read more to know it could be non compatible...
It did not work. Prime Cables gave me refund asap. Did not need to go thru the hassle of returning it - just tossed it into garbage.
