I was about to buy the better arm but took a chance on this arm. I think that the people complaining about the mount most likely did not read the instructions and adjust the tension properly. I mounted a 27inch monitor and it hold up nicely. The only issue that I encounter was that my new DELL monitor did not have a VESA mount. I had to buy an adapter.

For the price, the quality is okay. It feels a bit flimsy, I would strongly suggest to spend a bit more for the heavy-duty ones.
