    Bought the unit Sep. 21, started using it a year ago. 2 months ago the HMDI port has completely stopped working. Since then have been using this as a glorified USB hub with only keyboard and mouse, in the past 2 weeks half of the time when I wake up my laptop from sleep, the hub wouldn't be working and requires unplugging. Absolutely horrific lifespan with only 1 year warranty.

          Unfortunately, the HDMI port does not work at all, rendering this entirely useless. I was ready to like it but it doesn't work and since I purchased it on clearance it is not eligible for a return. I guess caveat emptor applies here.

            caused all sorts of havoc with my PC and anything connected to it. soon as I'd unplug it from the PC everything would get snappy. May have just gotten a lemon.
