Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair with Auto-Balance Segmented Backrest - Moustache®
It creaks a LOT but there is a FIX! The creaking does not come from the bolts as one would expect, it comes from the plastic parts at the very end of the legs of the chair. They are removable (but not that easy to get out, you have to pry them out with a small tool) and apply grease inside the legs and on the plastic part generously (I used silicon-based). That's all! Other than that, it's a fairly comfortable chair, but there is no adjustment for the lumbar support, which is not ideal.
Parts came scratched through the paint and rusted. Packaging was torn for almost all parts and taped over so I had to clean tape residue from the parts. Chair seems fine as a product, but quality in packaging and care leaves much to be desired.
I thought I'd give my updated review on this chair - it's been about a year and a half (I purchased it back in Dec 2021) since I started using this chair. The support from Shopper+ has actually been fantastic so far. They certainly stand behind what they sell, and they're responsive to feedback and I'll give them kudos for that. I think what most people are concerned about is the mesh. Mine has held up quite well. It's still quite firm and has some stiff springyness to it even after 18 months. No complaints here so far. I sit on this chair for about 12 hours a day, and I'm around 210lb for reference, so there's quite a bit of weight on this chair. Chair surface gets an A+ from me. The only issue I have (and still have) are the wheels/feet of this chair. Originally, I had issues with the stock wheels. Didn't roll very well, and Shopper+'s recommendations to get the rollerblade wheels made a huge difference. It's been great until this week, when the rollerblade wheels fell off. The wheels are attached to the chair legs using some sort of tension system so they don't fall out. 2 out of the 5 wheels so far have lost the tension, and the wheels no longer stay in the chair legs. They'll tilt and fall out if I roll the chair now. Not sure if it's just a QC issue with my chair (maybe not if 2/5 are falling out), but thought I'd put this review out there to let potential buyers know of my experience. Since it's past my warranty period, I'll probably need to go purchase a new one. Overall, for what I paid, it wasn't bad (even if it only lasted 20 months) but hopefully Shopper+ can feed this info back to their suppliers to see if they can improve on this.
Siège à filet un peu trop mou et le bout du siège, qui est plus dure, me coupe le dessous de jambes à la longue. Qualité acceptable pour le prix.
Alright chair
Since I couldn't edit my original review, I had to create a new review. I thought I'd put my thoughts in after 6 months of this chair: *As others had mentioned, the wheels on this chair aren't very good. Shopper+ were gracious enough to send me a set of their rollerblade style wheels and they make a world of difference. If you're opting for this chair, then definitely consider getting the rollerblade wheels. These are the ones I have: https://www.shopperplus.ca/p-391918-cw-s2-5pk-universal-office-chair-casters-set-3-rollerblade-style-and-2-wbrake-style *Mesh has held up well. No sagging yet. It's not quite as stiff as day 1, but it's still comfortable. Plus I'm on the heavier side so that may put some additional strain on the mesh. *My only complaint is that this chair squeaks - a lot. As in if I shift my position, it squeaks. I've tried putting some grease on the moving points, but it's still squeaking. Absolutely annoys my wife to the point she puts on headphones when I'm sitting in my chair. I might have to get some silicone grease spray to see if I can get it into the crevices to stop the squeaking. Other than that, the chair has held up pretty well after a month. The squeaking has resulted in it losing a star but it's still a decent buy for an office chair if you can put that aside or are handy enough to lubricate the hinges on this chair regularly.
