Safe Slicer Vegetable Chopper Adjustable with 5 Blades - LIVINGbasics®
The best vegetable slicer I have ever used. I tried the traditional rectangular vegetable processor. It stays in storage forever. This thing looks good. Have different blade size. The container at the bottom catches the food with no surprise. The handle at the top makes it very easy to slice and you don’t need to worry that it will cut your hand. A reminder for you: do not use too much strength on the presser, it works better.
I've only used it a couple times since receiving it, but so far I am very impressed. It cuts through vegetables like butter, with almost no force required at all. It's very easy to assemble and I love that it comes with 5 different blades. The best part of course is that it's much safer to use compared to a traditional mandoline slicer. It's also very easy to clean and I love that it comes with a nice little brush to get into any little crevices. If there has to be any cons with this slicer though, I guess I'd say that the largest size blade attachment is 3.9mm thickness. It would be nice if blades with a thicker cut were included. Still 5/5 stars from me though. I will be tossing out my traditional mandoline now that I have this one. Also the rubber feet on the bottom are a nice touch. It really grips the counter/glass stovetop.
It was easy to use. The only downfall, is depending what yoh cut, it lodges between the blade panel and the chute. There is also no mention if it is dishwasher safe or not. It would be helpful to know either way. While it did not mention in the description online, I would have thought the brochure would have said something.
Disappointing. Was hoping to use this to make coleslaw but the blades are unsuitable.
Very good quality
Seems like it protects my fingers from touching the bale (unlike my previous mandalin).
