A good cushion but not the firmest. I wished it used a higher-density foam. I don't know if the cool gel pad makes any difference.

This item came excellently packaged. I went to start using it and immediately found it way to firm for my body. I need something more pliable after my stroke, otherwise for normal Individuals, it would be great . Unfortunately, not for me ....
