i am about 5'3 and I don't think this arm is tall enough to raise my 24" monitor high enough so that my eyes are at monitor level in portrait mode. I end up spinning the monitor so it's vertical/portrait. My monitor's vesa back was quite recessed, so I couldn't "slide" the mount to arm piece because the monitor's plastic would catch on the metal part. Instead I had to install the metal vesa mount to the arm piece first, then install the mount to my monitor's back. The slot in the mount to keep your allen keys is smart! The hardest part of installation was flipping the metal attachments on the arms to be pointing "upwards" because the edges are quick narrow and hard to grip well enough to rotate them. if this were to ever be redesigned, I think the main pole should be taller by at least a few inches, so that the smaller sized screens can sit horizontally at a more ergonomic eye height for stand or sit desk mode.

the height adjustment is limited. I'm a tall person (6'4" and can't really bring the monitor to the desired height.

easy install

my desk width is a bit longer than modern computer desks. I would have liked more arm length to extend my laptop. I didnt get any feedback when I emailed primecable.

I had a hard time tightening the laptop support so it keeps its angle (and now I'm kinda afraid of changing the angle because I don't want to loosen it), and the laptop slips easily when opening/closing the cover, but the monitor arm is very great. Overall still a great product.

I'm using the laptop tray with my Lenovo T450/T470s and work HP. The monitor stand I am using with my 24" Asus monitor. The vesa mount was sturdy and fit well. But I noticed the LCD arm was sagging when pulled out. For me, drill a hole in the desk so the LCD is not too far away on my Ikea desk. Would recommend buying a stand alone monitor stand.
