    Item arrived 5 days after placing the order. One of the tubes is cracked at the bottom where it is inserted into the base unit and does not glow while the other three tubes do when the unit is powered up. See attached picture. The left channel is NOT working as a result. All other features are tested and all work fine. Just raised a return ticket for replacement. Now await to see how their customer service works.

    So far I am not very impressed with this unit. Bass on is often very distorted even at low volume and bass setting. Tried multiple speakers and same problem. Now I have to send it back and they will send me a new one. What a headache considering the many positive reviews. Hope the new one isn't junk too.

      I purchased this item based on the cool, kind of retro look combined with the advertised 25 watt output rating since I live in an older wood frame condo and as such, can't play really loud music anyway. When I received the amp I found that the 25 watt/channel output was based on 4 ohms and 15 watts at 8 ohms. OK not a really big deal for me but would like to have known this before I bought it. The amp sounds ok with my Polk Audio S15 speakers and my Dual 506 turntable. Where my experience with this purchase really went downhill was when I played a cd and found that the sound coming out of the left channel sounded a little muddy/fuzzy. I switched the RCA cable out to see if that helped but it did not. I switched speakers and that didn't help. I switched the dvd player with a slightly older one that I had kicking around and the distorted sound persisted. I contacted customer support and about a day later about getting a replacement, repair or refund and received a request to send a video of the issue. Wasn't quite sure what to make of that but eventually I did send one with the cd playing and showing the connections. The main excerpt in the customer support response I received was this: "We forwarded the video you sent to our product specialist but they really didn't hear the problem, they are requesting to please send a normal song as a comparison video." I guess an old Beatles song isn't a normal song and my emailed video of the sound wasn't clear enough. Anyway, in the meantime I tried the coaxial digital input for the cd player and the sound is better (which I also mentioned in my return email) although I didn't have a proper coaxial cable so hopefully when I try it with a proper cable it will sound like it should. In the meantime, I'm too old to be bothered with the hassle that this company calls customer service so I'll go to Best Buy to pick up a proper cable. Just as an aside and comparison of service, I had also purchased a pair of new Edifier P17, 6 ohm speakers on Ebay through an ecommerce seller to try out with this unit when I realized the output specs weren't as I thought. The Edifiers didn't sound as good as the Polks so I requested an return to the seller and gave the reason that they didn't sound good with my amp. My return request was immediately approved with the only condition being that I supply a tracking number for shipping the item, no other questions asked. I understand that product flaws can happen so my main reason for rating is poor customer service.

        Good shipping, communication etc., but unit arrived as scheduled - and the left channel was dead. Tried various input sources, flipped the speakers from one side to the other, but nothing. Seller promptly issued a return waybill, and has promised a refund. No complaints about the seller, unfortunately the unit had a flaw.

          Le son en globalité est bien, sauf que les hautes font défaut (agressives).

            Poor built, phono line doesnt works as indeed. They put wrong color on polarity knob ( better not have color indicator if its to be the wrong one....) Sound not as warm as i expected from a tube amplifier , look like the tube are only there for the look. Doesnt worth the price, get a regular amplifier, it will be way better quality/price.
