Plays well enough. I love that I have a unit that can easily switch between phono and BT. There is no ground screw for phono, but was able to loosen and use one of the under-mount screws as a ground. Not as good as a proper ground screw, but I wasn't comfortable drilling into the unit to create a ground screw as another user described in the comments. I had one day when phono wasn't working (all other inputs worked fine), but I simply powered down the unit for five minutes, powered it back on, and then it worked without a problem (I haven't been able to recreate the issue since). Giving 4 stars because of missing phono ground screw. BT worked seamlessly.

J'ai cet ampli depuis plus d'un an maintenant. Les plus: Séparation stéréo remarquable pour un appareil de ce prix, positionement des instruments et des vocaux très bon. Bonne clarté, notamment dans les parties moyennes et moyennes hautes. Entrée optique qui fonctionne très bien avec un Chromecast Audio, permettant d'utiliser l'enceinte pour Spotify, Tidal etc Entrée USB qui fonctionne bien et qui se souvient de la position entre écoutes Tubes corrects pour le prix, incertain si les changer améliorerait qqe chose. Volume du son avec enceintes de style 'bookshelf' 8 Ohms asssez bon, sans casser la baraque. Les moins: Ampli pour casques fort médiocre, sans puissance et qui parasite dès le passage des 40-50% de volume, alors que des casques comme un AKG K240 Studio avec 55 Ohms on besoin de ce volume pour avoir assez de son. Ajustement des trebles et basses de peu d'intérêt et causant des grosses distortions, notamment les basses. Bouton pour changer entre phono/cd et entrée style line-in à l'arrière, ce qui est dommage. Son total correct, le son est bien tubeux, mais on sent que l'ampli n'a pas trop d'envergure, notamment dans les basses, et le DAC est probablement à améliorer, je peux jouer Tidal et je sens bien la différence avec Spotify par exemple, mais comparé à une lecture avec un vrai hifi (à 1000 piasses et +), il n'y a pas photo, à part le positionnement et la séparation stéréo, le son même est un peu fade, sans vrai muscle. Mais pour une enceinte pour jouer de la musique via un ordinateur c'est super. En résumé: intéressant surtout si en promo. Ce n'est pas un miracle mais c'est un bon produit qui ne devrait pas décevoir.

I have not hooked this up yet, but I was prompted for a review so here it is on my first impressions. I am relying on the other reviews with respect to performance when I do hook it up. First, this is an extraordinary price for a tuba amp. Second, the build quality is solid. It does not feel cheap. I look forward to connecting my new Pro-Ject Perspective turntable to the amp. The only disappointment is that the amp does not have an aux input so I can use my Pro-Ject Tube Box DS preamp. I gather there must be a pre-amp built into the amp (the book or words doesn't tell us), which is surprising, but it could never be as good as a dedicated pre-amp set up for the cartridge. Hence only the four stars on first impressions. If it doesn't cut it with the table, I'll still use it for my DAP.
