The TV box works fine, it's faster than my previous one, the only problem I find is that the Google Play Store it came with is somewhat restricted, it can't even update Netflix app that pre-installed with the box, when I open Netflix app it shows there is an update, but once clicked on update it opens up Google Play Store with app description but no update button available, also can't update Google chrome as it doesn't even show up in the play store even you search for it, I ended up download apps from 3rd party website. If you don't mind install apps from 3rd party as the Google Play Store it came with is limited, then the box is pretty good for watching Movies and Videos.

Works well, but I have a complaint. The home page only holds popular apps, so I need to go every time to the Google store and then to "my apps" to get to certain apps (BritBox, Hoopla, CBC Gem). It's an annoyance. I also don't really enjoy navigating with the little remote. I prefer the PS4 remote but I had to buy this box because PS4 didn't have paramount or any other streaming options I was looking for. This box seems to download anything from the playstore.

Overall this has excellent quality playback. The serious flaw is not the hardware but the launcher. You are tightly locked into a custom version of MediaBox h616 (called SmartBox) and there is no easy way for the average user to modify it. Alternate apps from GooglePlay will not even install! You cannot access most of the Android OS's options so you cannot customize it or update it either. Side loading new apps may be an option?

Total piece of garbage.

Limited free Apps load from the internet; but does the job for casual TV program viewing. The digital display is too dim and too small to see. Hope to learn more about the device. The sale price is reasonable.

Unable to get it updated. Works fine on Google and Youtube.
